Panel 2: Inside the cafe — Darwin the wolf barista makes two coffees at once. A new character at the counter — a very small gray rabbit in an oversized sweater, purple eyes, ordering: "Caramel latte, please?" Panel 3: Close-up of two ceramic mugs on the counter. Darwin turned away. A small gray rabbit hand grabs the wrong mug — the black coffee instead of the latte. The caramel latte is left behind. Panel 4: Ash at his usual square table, headphones on. He tastes the remaining mug — and grimaces. Eyebrows furrowed, muzzle wrinkled. Something sweet where black should be. The first real expression in five pages of silence.
